2018
🧠 The Spark
At a Twilio launch event, our founder saw AI in a new light. Autopilot—a simple chatbot framework—lit the fuse for what would become Automatdo. It wasn’t powerful by today’s standards, but it unlocked a vision: conversational AI could transform how businesses communicate.
2019-2022
🛠️ The Build Years
We explored early NLP tools like IBM Watson, prototyped internal bots, and tested MVPs. By 2022, we were experimenting with large language models like ChatGPT. The outputs were impressive—but fragmented. We realized AI wasn’t the problem. Making it usable was.
2023
📌 Founding Moment
Automatdo officially launched, focused on transforming QA for contact centers. Our goal was simple: help teams review and improve customer conversations—faster and smarter.
We built a platform that could automatically analyze calls, flag coaching moments, and streamline evaluations—no more spreadsheets, no more guesswork. From early internal tools to launch-ready features, we built with intention.
2024
📋 QA Expansion
We leveled up the QA experience with advanced features:
• Team & individual performance comparisons
• Daily and weekly evaluation digests
• A searchable interface (like Google, but for QA)
These updates helped managers move from reactive reviews to proactive performance improvement—at scale.
2025
🗣️ Voice Agent Launch + Auto Debut
This year, we introduced our AI voice agents, built to complete conversations—not just route them. With performance-based pricing and smart escalation, they’re changing how support teams handle volume.
We’re also introducing Auto, our robo-dog mascot. Friendly, sharp, and built for speed—he reflects our mission to make automation approachable, trustworthy, and team-ready.
